- Fresh Strawberries: 500g, hulled and sliced
- Heavy Cream: 500ml (cold)
- Condensed Milk: 1 can (397g)
- Sugar: 2 tbsp (to macerate the berries)
- Vanilla Extract: 1 tsp
- Lemon Juice: 1 tsp
Instructions:
- Prepare Berries: In a bowl, toss the sliced strawberries with sugar and lemon juice. Let them sit for 15 minutes, then mash half of them with a fork for texture.
- Whip Cream: In a large chilled bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form.
- Combine: Gently fold the condensed milk and vanilla extract into the whipped cream using a spatula.
- Mix: Fold in the mashed and sliced strawberries carefully to maintain a marbled look.
- Freeze: Pour the mixture into a freezer-safe container. Smooth the top and cover with plastic wrap (touching the surface to prevent ice crystals).
- Set: Freeze for at least 6 hours or overnight.
- Serve: Let it sit at room temperature for 5 minutes before scooping.
